Realm Coffee was founded by husband and wife duo Daniel and Kathleen Henderson. They have three beautiful children that put the FULL in joyful! Daniel and Kathleen helped in founding a well-renowned cafe in Northern Ireland called ‘Lost and Found’ in their time living there in Daniel’s hometown of Coleraine. Their work at ‘Lost and Found’ helped pioneer a new coffee culture in Northern Ireland, helping expand what coffee could be and introducing new tastes with coffees sourced globally. Daniel competed in the 2013 World Coffee Brewer’s Championship in Australia representing as the Irish Coffee Brewer’s Champion. He placed 11th in the world. His attention to detail and craftsmanship is put into every cup of coffee he serves and his Irish roots are at the heart of his passion for the art of hospitality matching the art of the coffee. Kathleen worked in the kitchen side of the cafe, with a Master’s in Nutrition, she helped ‘Lost and Found’ in winning a prized Mckenna Award, ‘Food Pioneer of the Year’ award for all of Ireland! She has a passion for excellence alongside her husband in helping create warming and inviting spaces for people to have community with well-crafted coffee.
